Unit 4 Meetings


Meetings are important to communicate with your cast and crew so everyone knows what they're doing and what to expect. If you don't hold meetings, production won't go as well because cast and crew are not prepared beforehand, and don't know what's expected of them.

Unit 4 Shooting Schedule



The shooting schedules help you stay organised during production so you know which shots you're shooting on which days as well as which actors and locations you'll need for each scene. This helps you work efficiently during production and produce high quality footage.

Unit 4 Contributor Release Forms




I asked the actors in my film to sign a contributor release form, which is written permission to use their face on camera. It's important to receive these forms in advance because without them actors can stop you from using their face after finishing production, stopping you from using all footage they are in.

Unit 4 Location Release Forms

I decided on locations to use for my film and got the managers of the locations to sign a release form. This is important because it gives me permission to film in that location without getting into any legal trouble because I will have the proper paperwork if it's needed. Without this, the location managers could get me into legal trouble for using their location as it isn't authorised.
